Trade Leverage for Climate Change Progress

The Villars Framework offers a WTO reform agenda to better align the trading system with the world community’s commitment to climate change action and sustainability more broadly. The session will explore this potential for trade to become a real leverage point for delivering transformative change that might move the world toward a clean energy future and a ramped-up response to climate change.

Panel: Dan Esty, Yale and Remaking Trade Project; Michael Dorsey, ASU; and Lordship Fakafānu, Speaker of the House of Tonga. Amanda Ellis, ASU, moderator.
