Water is becoming a scarce resource pushing the migration of large population clusters who depend on water and agriculture for their livelihoods. This process is exacerbated by climate change. To address this urgent challenge, water management is key, and it requires a joint effort from public authorities, financing institutions and private parties. This event will build awareness about water management solutions and new technologies and will exchange ideas on how governments, private players and financial institutions can contribute towards tackling water issues by drawing lessons learned from global experience.
