The G20 & G7 Health and Development Partnership, the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Global Institute for Disease Elimination are hosting an event to explore the link between climate change and the rise of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Strengthening partnerships among international institutions, non-government organizations, academia, the private sector, and pharmaceutical and research sectors is essential for effectively integrating AMR into climate change policies. In this event, a panel of experts will raise awareness about the linkages between AMR and climate change and will discuss actionable recommendations for mitigating the impact of climate change on AMR.
